Humming Bird Food
Making hummingbird food is very simple, and takes less than five minutes to make. All you need is granulated sugar, water, a wet and dry measuring cup, and a small stove pot. Take your sugar and with your dry measuring cup, scoop out a ¼ of a cup of sugar, and place it inside the pot. Then proceed to measure out with your wet measuring cup ¾ of a cup of water, and place it in the pot. Turn your stove on high, and use a wooden spoon to stir the mixture; it will take about three to four minutes for the mixture to start boiling. Once the sugar water begins to boil, turn off the stove and place the sugar water into a coffee cup. Either put the cup of hot sugar water into the refrigerator, not the freezer, or outside to cool down. Once the sugar water has completely cooled down, pour the sugar water into your hummingbird feeder. Place the feeder at your designated location and enjoy the show!
